On the 13th and 14th of April, the FLAG-ERA Consortium organizes a Kick off Seminar to mark the start of the 19 projects that were selected through the Joint Transnational Call (JTC) 2015. The investigators involved in the funded projects are invited to present their research plans to an audience of funders, fellow investigators and representatives of the FET Flagships and European Commission at the Novotel Centrum Hotel in Budapest.
On the 13th of April, the 6 projects in the field of the Human Brain Project will be discussed, while the 13 projects in the Graphene topic will be presented on the 13th and 14th of April. The objectives of the seminar are to allow for networking among investigators, funders and FET Flagships, to showcase the research aims of the funded projects and to facilitate the integration of the JTC 2015 funded projects to the FET Flagship initiatives as Partnering Projects. Moreover, representatives of the funders will elaborate on the relevant funding opportunities and programmes that exist at national level in the field of graphene and the Human Brain Project. The Seminar is kindly organised by the National Innovation Office (NKFIH), FLAG-ERA member from Hungary.
The FLAG-ERA JTC 2015 Project Kick-off Seminar is preceded by a Young Researchers Event on the 12th of April organized by the Human Brain Project. The programme and registration for the HBP Young Researchers Event are available here.
